**Position Overview:**

As an Advisor in Accounting, this role involves managing accounting functions, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring financial accuracy. The Senior Accountant will lead by formulating and implementing accounting practices aligned with industry standards, overseeing compliance, and driving operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Directing strategic and operational objectives

- Managing team performance, development, and remuneration

- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting accounting data accurately

- Overseeing internal and external financial reporting and decision-making processes

- Developing and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies

- Participating in audits and special projects

- Collaborating with external consultants or auditors for proper recordkeeping

**Principal Accountabilities:**

- Journal preparation, reconciliations, and related documentation

- Controllership for intercompany relationships, issue resolution, and solutions

- Collaborating with business partners on accounting, audit, tax, and regulatory matters

- Ensuring compliance with government regulations and internal controls

- Providing guidance on process, policies, and procedures

- Addressing internal customer inquiries and cross-functional issues

**Skills Required:**

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and US GAAP

- Proven experience in relevant accounting roles (5 to 7 years)

**Education & Experience:**

- Qualified Accountant with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience
